THE STORY

I’m trying to be one of those active parents who, at the age of 45, still chases a little adrenaline and goes like hell on the weekend. You know the guy.
But it’s tough when you have never-ending to-dos. Right?
Well...I’ve been carving out a few minutes each day to frontload the list of to-dos.
It’s built enough credits for a full day here and there to get out of the house and boogie.
Because we don’t put enough value on OUR OWN JOY and how it inspires our kids to fight for their own.

This is how I got into hunting, something I wanted my whole life but never put time aside for.
Six years in now, and it’s the best decision I’ve made, not only for mental and physical strength, but creativity.
It offered a bigger tank of real experience to draw from.

THE PAINTING
This painting - ‘Dog Will Hunt’ relates to this story. It’s about getting the job done - no matter how rough the road, because that’s just what you do. It's a - “He’s hard-wired for this life, not perfect but reliable as hell” kind of story. The one about that guy who everyone respects because he shoots straight and gets the dang thing done.
