THE STORY

This is my favourite place to be,
I spent days traveling up and down this 330km stretch of highway called the Cowboy Trail.
I call this a 5-minute road trip because I pull over every 5 minutes to take pictures.

I wanted to create artwork of this place similar to how you remember it in your mind - more colourful, hazy, immense, dreamlike.

So, dozens of pictures from this entire trip have been chopped up and put back together using painted textures and gradients to create a highly detailed artwork with a dramatic sense of depth - just like your memory of it.

The fox, heron, coyote, and king fisher are paintings on canvas that have been scanned and placed into the landscape.
