Rocky Mountains Archive Collection - Mt Rundle - Print
THE STORY
Some mountains are more than scenery.
Mt Rundle is one of the shapes many Albertans know by heart, rising over Banff and Canmore, cutting across the Bow Valley, and marking that ‘oh so good’ feeling of finally being in the Rockies.
For those of us who grew up near these mountains, drive toward them when we need to feel grounded again, or carry them as part of what “home” means, Mt Rundle is instantly recognizable. It is in our backyard and is uniquely ours.
