THE STORY:
If you drive along what’s known as the Cowboy trail in Southern Alberta you will be treated to some of the most interesting landscapes Canada has to offer. With rolling foothills, rocky mountain views, canola fields and plenty of wildlife, driving this road is better than visiting a natural history museum.
Vegetation native to the area is put on display here and thanks to the warm yellow, red and orange complimented by the forever blue sky, the colors seem to work well together no matter how they’re placed.
Like so many of my artworks, this one pays tribute to the wild places we have the privilege to protect and call home.
